Coming Of Age Day

12^th,January was coming of age day, so there were a lot of 20 years old people who was wearing Kimono and very cool suits. My sister had that ceremony two years ago, so they remained me of the day.  When I was walking my neighborhood, I was spoken to by two girls who was wearing Kimono suddenly. I was very surprised, but soon I noticed that they were my seniors when I was a junior high school student. We haven’t seen each other for a long time, but we recognized as soon as we met. I was very happy to meet them. I’m going to have that ceremony next year. I haven’t decided my Kimono yet, so I’m really looking forward to choosing it and attending the ceremony!

 

My friend became Mikosan at Ikuta shrine

I went to Ikuta shrine which is located in Sannomiya and the place Jinnai and Norika Fujiwara had wedding party. I went there to pray as a first visit of the year. In fact, my

 Friend, Satoko, works there as a maiden in the service of a shrine. The work is called ‘Mikosan’ in Japanese. She was sitting written fortune place. I went there with my friend, Megu. We soon found Satoko and we picked written fortune. We both got the best one! We were very happy;) Surprisingly, my number was 31! I work at Baskin Robbins, So I felt something special at this number. I hope this year will be very good year!

New Year's Card

As one of Japanese cultures, we send and get New Year cards. These days e-mail or line is very popular among young people, but the cards still exist and I’m really happy to get New Year cards from my friends.

I got very humorous one this year. I was very surprised at the cards at first, but I soon laughed a lot. The card said ‘Who am I?’ at address place. It is very funny, isn’t it?

This is my favorite joke, so I want to try same thing next year;)

Wild Boar

In my town, there are a lot of wild boars. They come to town from Mt.Rokko to get some food. This is very usual thing for us for a long time, but some new media took up as news. In fact, wild boars attack people these days. So I was afraid of them when I back to home at night. However I learnt some characteristics which are aimed by wild boars. People who has vinyl bag are aimed, because they think some foods are in it. People who feed them are aimed, because they think those people should have more food. So I care about these things not to be attacked by wild boars.

I found a wild boar yesterday. He was sitting. He looks cute, so I took a picture!

 

Flu Season

From three days ago, my father got flu… He had very high fever and strong pain all of his body. He looks very tired. He is on vacation now, so I don’t know it is good or bad. From yesterday, my mother said that she had a headache… maybe she’s going to get my father’s flu. My sister is always at home, so she is also in dangerous…. I am still ok, but I am really afraid of coming home and I can’t tell my family’s body conditions to my friends and co-workers! Should I tell them!?

Ijinnkan

On Christmas day, I visit Kobe Ijinnkan for the first time in my memory. My mother said that I have been there when I was very young with my family. However it was first time for me. There were many sloping road, so it was a little bit tiring. We went to Trick art museum. There were a lot of trick art in the museum for the name of building. I was very surprised and enjoyed looking them. After that we ate crape. Surprisingly, the shop existed more than 10 years ago. I became full by eating the crape. It was delicious. After that, we went china town and mosaic. I really enjoyed the day and I’ll never forget.

 

Nice Present♪

 

I got nice Christmas card from friend lives in America! She was 17 years old and she was used to study abroad in Japan and came to my high school about a month. When I was a high school student, I met a lot of foreign people. It was my high school’s good point and opportunity. She was really good speaker of Japanese. Although She visited Japan for the first time, she could do self-introduce, conversation and even read Chinese character. She joined our normal class such as world history and Japanese. My classmates were all surprised her ability. Our teachers were also surprised. She was very hard working and a little bit shy. She is Chinese American, so she could speak English, Japanese and Chinese. I know she can live everywhere in the world. Her dream is to be a doctor and I know her dream will come true.
